Hi, I’m Larry. Welcome to my website GlickmanOnline.com, otherwise known as 1Perfect Song.

This is where I write about music. I write about music that I love, and music that has played an important part in my life and in the life of my family. I’m really glad you’re visiting.

Some times I write about other things, as well. This is my website. I can do what I want.

My very first album was The Beatles, 1962-1966. The first concert I remember going to all by myself was the band Chicago. I saw Dwight Yoakam open for the Violent Femmes. I saw Bruce Springsteen at Soldier Field in 1985. I saw John Lee Hooker open for Los Lobos. I saw Mavis Staples open for Bob Dylan. I got to see John Hiatt sing “The Weight” with Levon Helm.

I live in the Chicago area, and I take guitar classes at the Old Town School of Folk Music. I’m not very good, but love playing good music with good people. I love enjoying music with my wife and our family.
